More less from the middle of May it starts to be very hot in Florence. The best solution then is to organise one-day stay by the sea. Fortunately we are only one hour and half away from the blissful relaxation on one of the Tuscan beaches – in Viareggio.
If you spend more than 4 days in Florence, I am sure you will feel a bit tired of this city, even though there are so many breathtaking views and lovely places. Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, therefore people come from all over the world to walk the same streets as Leonardo da Vinci or Dante a long time ago.
Florence is, without question, one of the most magic cities in the world. History, art, architecture – if someone is keen on one of these fields at least , he will find thousands reasons to be delighted. This is why hordes of people from all over the world come to spend at least one day in Florence
Many times while living in Florence, I’ve faced the opinion that Pisa is only associated with The Leaning Tower and nothing else. I’ve never been there before, so it wasn’t too hard to believe it and as a result, I tried to postpone my trip as much as I could. Then came this moment..
I’ve been to Milan once before, when I was 14 years old. I only saw the amazing Duomo and I ate an expensive and sub-par pizza in a place full of tourists. I experienced neither Milan nor real, Italian pizza. In the meantime I heard so many times that there’s nothing to see in, since it’s a big, barely ”Italian” city, where everyone is in a rush. A few times I typed “Milan” into a web search engine out of curiosity, just to see what it looked like. And almost every time the only search result was the Duomo. I couldn’t believe that in such a big city there was nothing more to see. This is why during the Easter holidays I went there to check out what’s going on in Milan.
